The Kalita Wave filters are designed to sit suspended above the bottom of the dripper while increasing temperature stability by keeping most water contact away from the outer wall of the dripper. This can be done by pouring hot water directly into the middle of the filter and around the sides until the entire filter is wet, and let it drain back out. Each pack contains 100 filters.
